EconoLodge
Reading reviews I gathered this would probably, be a decent little place, possibly a quiet little relaxing retreat after a very long day. The morning started off freezing cold in Kansas as we trekked our way into Oklahoma on our way to Texas. Trying to stay on the outskirts of busy cities we tend to stay in the smaller towns with not near as much traffic. We also look for hotel/motels that can accommodate large vehicle parking, seeing as how we always travel with a 40 ft. trailer.
Upon entering the hotel we noticed an odor that was probably marijuana which so many places smell like these days. The room was definitely different. The bathroom was decent sized. The door almost knocks the toilet over upon opening and closing. Shower had great pressure, and amazing hot water. The bed was pretty comfortable even though the sheets were not big enough to stay on the mattress, but we made it work. There was a regular sized refrigerator along with a dorm size refrigerator in the room. There was one side table and a regular table with a lamp. I felt the room could have been arranged a bit different to make the best out of the space. But overall it was pretty decent and would stay there again if we are in the area. I had to come back a few days later to add a revision. There was definitely a nice touch with the candy on the bed. (let me clarify to say unopened candy in place of mints on the pillows.)
